In the modern world in which this story takes place, a species, almost human but with animal like aspects, (wings, tails, horns, hooves) has been hunted and almost entirely wiped out. The few remaining of this species have to hide their aspects or they’ll be killed or imprisoned by people. But what happens when Kelton gets his wings exposed in a school which demonizes his kind?
