The Eastern European Country of Ashtokia which had just gotten its independence granted from the Treaty of Versailles, faces against an ancient friend turned foe named the Vauts which had suddenly reappeared after thousands of years of perceived extinction. The Vauts are a bipedal species of birds that stand on average of 7ft tall. They used to share relations with the Feline race after humanity had fell. This series follows a small group of "Country Guards," This comic takes place in 1924.
