[BL] Aspiring Yaobudo fighters Katsuyuki and Yuanfei cross paths when they find themselves placed on a team together, relegated to their promising but confining archetypal roles. A common thread runs through every story, pushing towards a fixed narrative - but when the two find themselves gravitating together in spite of the path in front of them, they must decide whether or not to risk their safe story to push for their own narrative, and find meaning within it.
