After 18 unsuccessful eye operations, Clair Iridian, who was blind since birth, miraculously gains the ability to see. Ever since opening her eyes she claims to see a certain kind of color on each and every person she meets, and she begins to learn more about life when she meets a guy who she says "has all of the colors". For the first time she opens her eyes not only to the various colors that the world holds but also to the dark realities and heartbreaks of life.
