A fully realized fantasy world that follows the adventures of characters from each side of the battlefield. Mereio is the chosen vessel of the lesser deity, Moramoi, god of blood. But his reign is contested by a feared warrior named Dante. Mereio must defeat him in combat in order to secure his place at Moramoi's side. All the while, Myers, a scholar of the Runists, creates auto-machinery as commission work for cities across the continent. His work is brought to a halt by Mereio.
