It’s the year 1999. High school student, Chance Browster, explores a New Jersey suburb crawling with hostile monsters, witches, demons, ghosts, and liminal horrors. With the help of his new friend (and the descendant of the witch who cursed his family), Ezzie Leveaux, Chance works to overcome both sinister supernatural threats, and the social challenges of adolescence—all while watching anime on VHS, and anticipating the looming Y2K apocalypse.
