Creator
Rue De La Paix is a street in Paris famous for its many high fashion shops, many of which have been there since the mid 1800s. It came to particular prominence in the early 1900s, when it became somewhat of a seasonal shopping hub for wealthy ladies all across both Europe and the US. It also reflected changing societal roles of women, among whom working and financial independence was more normal.
