Caleb Clockworth is the last surviving clock-eater of his family's lineage. A new government is constructed “The Council” proceeding the horrid war known only as the “Nameless War” Caleb is given a package from the Council. He meets Evelyn Hyde , a human girl whose Clock was an hourglass. Not tempted to help her because of his distaste of humans, he finds it in his best interest to get on the council’s good side. Soon their adventure begins with many questions and mysteries of the hourglass girl
