In a future devastated by an alien race called the Wrex, Ryoko and her father, Ben, fight to undo the invasion. But when a time-travel experiment goes wrong, the Wrex discover their hidden bunker, and Ben sacrifices himself to send Ryoko into the past. Desperate to stop the invasion, Ryoko finds herself seeking help from her younger father to stop the Wrex in the past only to realize this timeline is not quite what it seems.
