12000 years after the apocalypse, only about 2000 humans remain on the earth. Gods that once walked the earth have now fled to a safer place, but they did not leave the world unprotected. They decided to give 97% of humans a unique ability of their own to be able to use in their daily lives, and on top of that they also decided to grant them new gods born of the humans to help rule the earth. Those granted that gift are known as the children of crows.
