Douglas Peterson is a 14 year old boy who does fruit produce deliveries for his father. Mr. Wilson, a regular. Has known the boy and his father ever since Douglas was a child. One day after ordering a big crate full of cherries, Mr. Wilson wants to introduce Douglas to his son. His son is quiet, and younger than him by a few years, but he had a feeling that they would get along. When Douglas agreed, he expected to see a younger boy. But instead he saw a doll that resembles a child with no eyes.
