The world is in shambles because of the prolonged "Resource War". A military organization puts its efforts in fiding a new power source and end up opening a portal to a different dimension. With no other options, they begin exploring and charting the place, hoping to find a great power source to end the Resource War, using mercenary groups and whoever they can recruit. This story follows the people from Recon Team West
