In a world still divided by the Cold War, humans born with superpowers – so-called "singularities" – are trained by governments to secretly act in their countries' best interests. It is in this context that we follow young Carol Abramova, a girl with superhuman strength who was trained to be a special agent for the KGB. Her life was "normal" until a problem places her in the middle of a much larger and more dangerous plot than she could have imagined.
