It's autumn in France. Melancholia took the heart of a man who considers to end his life. That is of course a very bad idea. And fate, destiny, life, whatever it is called, will put his feet back on earth with the sudden appearence of a woman, a lost soul wandering under the rain but a real wind of hope for this desesperate man.
