“I will never leave you.” That is the promise Cove made to her little brother that night, many years ago, when immigration agents took their mother away. But now almost 6 years later, Cove is nearing her 18th birthday and as a result is aging out of the system. The same system that has spit her and her brother out time and time again but remains legally binding. Now Cove must make a decision to answer the looming question: Can she keep what little family she has left from being torn apart?
