Pete Young, a struggling North London musician, has a fever dream that carries him to the Orion Nebula, where the guardian Papsukkal warns him a dark force called HADES is making humanity forget its goodness. With his girlfriend Christie, Pete follows the trail to Giza, finds the Hall of Records beneath the Sphinx, and uncovers a merkabah — a vessel of light — hidden in the Great Pyramid. Hades, a devil in a business suit, will do anything to stop them.
