The soldier Lawrence Anderson escapes and his family flees a zombie-infested Atlanta. Helped by Lieutenant Carter and his friend and fellow soldier Logan, they find shelter in a farmhouse in the woods, unaware that they must not only be careful of the undead but also of the intrinsic and dangerous human nature.
