The year is 2005. Ethan is a miserable 22 year old living in his parent's basement and uploading animations on the platform Newgrounds in his spare time. He just happens to be into hypermasculine media in a way that is entirely normal for a man his age. Then he meets Chris, a fellow animator from an entirely different world...a very furry world. Breaking New Grounds is a comic about internet culture, queer masculinity, and self-acceptance.
