After a big breakup, Muon, a gifted young sorceress, moves back to her home village to work in her mother's magic shop, "Bone and Thistle." There she reconnects with her childhood bestie, Tau, a spirit existing in the taxidermied head of a raccoon. Muon works to manage her heartache as she and Tau deal with the day to day affairs of the shop—unruly customers, bizarre special orders, annoying necromancers trying to kill her.
