Lyra, Kieran, and Violet were close friends. One night, Lyra saw Kieran murder Violet and run away. He was thought to have been killed too, but Lyra knows what she saw. Kieran wasn't seen or heard from again until three years later when there are rumors that he has been seen in town, pushing Lyra to investigate and get answers. Now she is being targeted by a mysterious group of magic users. She is left with more questions than answers and now her life is in danger.
