Basketball tryouts begin on the first day of high school for Kojima Kouki at Sakura High. He is dead set on his goal of making the team. Kojima meets Sugahara, another first-year student with immense talent but without the same drive to join the team as he does. Will these two end up becoming teammates? And how will Sakura High's Boys' basketball team fair in this year's inter-high as high school hoops increasingly get more and more competitive?
