The Blackbloods have been ruling over the Redbloods for too long. The Blackbloods have special powers, and the Redbloods don't. What happens when a red and a black have a kid? That creates a hybrid. It is unknown whether or not a hybrid has powers. The Blackbloods say they killed all the hybrids, went as far as making it illegal for a Redblood and Blackblood to be together. But some hybrids still remain. Lillith is one of them, and she is determined on finding the others.
