In a ancient Japanese empire, Kyru and his sister Saino are apart of the royal family Izo. Trained by their father to become samurai, they use blades and kai to battle enemies of their grandfathers empire. Kai is a spirt animal and element assigned to you at birth but is completely random. although saino has a weak kai and kyru is blind they train day in and out to make their family proud. On their road to becoming samurai and future shogun they run into some problems....
