Five tiers of swords exist, each more powerful than the last The council holds a sixth, it being of godlike abilities and can destroy planets The protagonists set off to steal it but before they do it is used and the earth implodes Cast off into purgatory. The bearer of a 4th tier sword commits suicide due to the loss of his family but does not die due to his Immortality. On his journey to get the 6th tier he slowly gathers the rest of the tiers.
