Rose leaves the church, overwhelmed by the events that took place. Alexandre knows he can't stop her from leaving, so he at least gives her a brochure of the church in case she needs help again. She takes it, thankful for his kindness. She proceeds on her way. He watches the tears of Rose still fall from her face, as the church doors close behind her. End of Chapter 1.
