Bitter Honey follows the intwined stories of an ill-fated human and the ancient, spiteful god she is tasked with imprisoning within her body. Intent on nothing except destroying her and her family, her nameless prisoner is both a valuable heirloom and powerful curse. While it is a great family honor to hold the god, it assures only a life of struggle, loss, and pain. But we are not obligated to repeat the mistakes of the past. This is a story about being broken, but not ruined.
