Bean is a slime who leads a simple life. Fortuna is a dragon exiled from her home and desperate for food and glory. A misunderstanding and a few exaggerations later, and Bean ends up the new Baron of the small frontier town of Lightfall, with Fortuna as her steed. Now unlikely frontier heroes, they learn and grow to become true heroes, as well as true friends, as they embark on many adventures to protect the town.
