We follow our protagonist, Heartsticker, through her days after the announcement of the new ruler, Telly, but not only does Telly crave attention, she’s also power hungry. Abidling is the only thing keeping people alive, if you’re not liked, you don’t get your share. Will she survive, will she die, or will she stop this madness?
