The people of the desert has for some reason decided to hide their differences in hopes to regain peace. In a world where masked people dress the same, live the same, and are taught to think the same, would discrimination cease to exist? Perhaps something as small as a scratch can hinder one’s social status. Height might become a factor that separates a mass. Barchan is a graphic novel that questions the correlation between human nature and discrimination.
