Set in a New Orleans, after a major hurricane decimated the city and the United States decides not to rebuild but to sell the city, Ayla speaks for the unspoken, for those that can not speak for themselves because their very lives have been taken from them. She looks for the killers of the people that the police ignore or would rather wish not exist.
