The story is set in a world where witches live peacefully alongside humans and magic is not a rare occurrence. It is used to do regular routine tasks as well as solve major world problems. Magic is mainly used to improve the standard of living inside the country and make its citizens happier. That is, until a war breaks out. The last time that happened was a few decades ago, and the consequences still affect the citizens' day-to-day lives.
