August is a barefoot in the dirt kind of girl, who grew up and lives on a farm, on a tiny island called Antigua, in the Caribbean. From her conception to current reality, things have always been uniquely different for her. She is fiercely guarded from finding out the truth by those closest to her, but she knows that secrets bubble below the surface. August doesn't question much, but tragedy buries then resurrects her into a realm, where if she doesn't find control, lives are jeopardized.
