The sacred and the profane dance together under the veil of plague, in a dark opera where every pleasure is a penance, and every redemption a cruel illusion. Here, desire is a weapon, faith a vice, and the soul a currency in a doomed world. Houndstown rots under the weight of a plague that kills not only bodies, but also faith, sanity, and hope. Pyres burn day and night, and the smell of burning flesh has become more common than the scent of winter's black roses.
