Nine University students find themselves transported to another world after a freak earthquake struck them at the University. Their favorite card game Ascending Heroes CCG has become the real world. It's confusing, upsetting, and terrifying for some. Others seem to be making themselves comfortable fast. The nine students are all met with familiars. Creatures whom partner with them and help guide them in this new world as they ascend to heroes.
