The story follows Izumi Konoe, a young village helper who Is saved at the age of 5 by an unknown man who gives him a plain looking sword (which turns out to be the greatest weapon ever made: Albion.). The man teaches him the basics of wielding a sword and tells him to seek him out in the kingdom when he comes of age. Now, At the age of 15, he starts his adventure to find the unknown man in the hope's of becoming the greatest knight in the kingdom, despite not having any affinity for magic.
