Echo Holloway is only thirteen, but her time is already running short. Diagnosed with a terminal illness, her life’s now measured in months… until she’s given a strange music box that can freeze time itself. Her disease halts along with the world, but that doesn’t mean she’s alone. Twisted creatures roam the frozen streets some scavengers, others predators. Yet Echo would rather face them than her own end… But she wonders: is this place keeping her whole, or just erasing what’s left of her?
