In her last year at the Academy, Kore, a high-ranking student, was selected to be one of the few in her graduating class who would move on to military service as high-ranking magical soldier. A year later, Kore has returned, and with it she has brought the war with her. Now, Kore and her childhood friends reunited, must grapple with conflicting factions, warring states, and what it means to be friends after all this time.
