The voices did not cause Freddy Westenfall to murder his closest friend. That's what his doctor at the asylum keeps telling him anyway, but Freddy knows better, and the voices can not be trusted. Death has always followed him, and now, with the appearance of a mysterious patient named Ambrose, Freddy feels his sanity slipping further from his grasp.
