A missing persons phenomenon has been occurring across the globe, with numbers continuing to rise to a shocking degree. Kyros's older brother is among the many who have disappeared. The story takes place 4 years in the future, wherein Kyros is still plagued by the disappearance. On a trip to the convenience store, he finds himself inexplicably transported to a different world, having no choice but to embark on a journey upon the unfamiliar land to uncover the secrets behind the disappearances.
