One of the symptoms of ADHD that you don't hear about is "rejection-sensitive dysphoria." It's basically the result of turning our hyperfocus loose on negative intrusive thoughts, and in my experience manifests as a fear of doing the wrong thing and assuming that other folks have the worst possible opinion of you. It's the worst, and the biggest reason I sought treatment in the first place.
