Cael is a boy with many mental and physical problems. He has difficulty communicating and is mostly ignored at school. He thought it would stay that way until the day he died, but one day a new boy comes into his life, and Cael feels strangely at ease with him, dying to learn more about him. After all, a boy as jovial, cheerful and social as Flint can only be good for him... right?
