Bill is given a more fragile form than what he used to, in a body that feels pain, age's and requires nutrients. The Axolotl is trying to give Bill a second chance at being free, placing him under the care of Soos, Melody and there 2 kids. Dipper and Mabel return, 16 years old and ready to hang out with there friends from gravity falls through the summer, but then a surprise awaits them
