Rylan, a 12 year old boy, who's family is hiding from a collapsed government, tries to help keep his family afloat. When his mom gets sick, he starts to step up in his dad's place. After coming upon refugees displaced by Hyne's plague from Purple District, he has to make a decision based on his now seemingly fortunate circumstances. But the path to freedom isn't always as rewarding as stories of old make it out to be.
