Ix and basically everyone he knows aspires to become extremely strong. In the world they live in, humans have evolved to be much more resistant to injury and have abilities that may even overpower their body. As a result of all this the world spun into chaos and sometimes the good ones don't always win but with a new generation of teens learning to use their powers so many more possibilities open up!
