As humans pride themselves as the pinnacle of intelligence, somewhere in the ocean evolution quietly takes place, slowly starting to provide raw intelligence power to our ocean relatives without our knowledge. Once raw intelligence is achieved, our intelligent relatives can skip the trial and error process by piggybacking on human knowledge accumulation, and this eventually creates a conflict that is going to be quite interesting.
