Once there were many – known as Periodics – powerful humans that changed the world. First were the opportunists, then heroes and villains, until finally just employees. After the Periodic Wars, an intense period of hostile takeovers, four corporations remain holding in their employ all Periodics. The strongest, Codename Hydrogen, has gone missing. A young girl, Lithium, resides on an island of her own making, listening to the world. She tries not to interfere; the world is changing, again.
